KUALA LUMPUR - The countries outside ASEAN in the regional meeting of defense ministers of ASEAN judged to be the party responsible for the failure of the creation of the joint declaration of the forum.

These allegations conveyed Chinese Defense Minister Chang Wanquan. According to him, some countries deliberately inciting ASEAN members not to approve the creation of a joint statement stating not to mention the South China Sea in the forum.

"I actually regret that the joint statement in a regional meeting of defense ministers of ASEAN failed to create," a statement from the Office of the Chinese Defense Ministry, quoting Minister Wanquan, as reported by Reuters on Thursday (11/05/2015).

"We believe some countries that do not need to be named had instigated the member countries of ASEAN to not approve a joint declaration. Some countries on condition of anonymity even try to enter the appropriate content in the forum to be included in the joint declaration, "continued the statement.

As reported, a regional meeting of defense ministers of ASEAN reportedly failed to reach a joint agreement on the disputed South China Sea (LCS).

Therefore, the joint declaration which was originally to be made by the defense minister had to be canceled. The meeting was actually attended by 10 ASEAN member states. However, the United States (US) along with some countries such as Australia, China, India, and Japan have been invited to attend the meeting.

If the US delegation and China met in a forum, it is a discussion about the South China Sea dispute became inevitable. US relations with China to continue and even tension.

It happened because on Tuesday, October 27, the USS Lassen , accompanied by a reconnaissance aircraft of the US Navy has been approached peraian Spratly Islands to patrol.
