BEIJING - Russia and China is building a light plane hypersonic speed to conquer system called Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) of the United States (US). The Chinese military observers even called the best first test has been carried out.

Defense policy analyst at Shanghai University, Professor He Qisong said, the best test is a warning to the US, who want to deploy the defense system to South Korea (ROK). "Hypersonic aircraft test by China and Russia is intended to provide a threat to the US, which plans to create a missile defense system in Kosel," said Qisong, as reported by Sputnik on Sunday (1/5).

A similar sentiment was also echoed by Li Jie military observers, who said that the test aircraft developed by China and Russia is proof that China is able to create a technology that can beat the US THAAD.

"China is trying to use the latest air test to warn the US that the Chinese People's Liberation Army has another powerful weapon capable of fighting THAAD system," he said.

Earlier, Russia and China itself is has agreed to support each other in the fight against the influence of Washington and its allies, especially in Asia. Both also denounced what they call as an intervention in the South China Sea issue and the Korean Peninsula.

The deal came after Russian Foreign Minister, Sergey Lavrov and Chinese compatriot, Wang Yi, met in Beijing. During the meeting, the two also again voiced its opposition to US plans to deploy a missile defense system THAAD in South Korea.
