Jet Fighter And Bomber Aircraft China Patrolling The LCS

China's nuclear bombers, the H-6K, come on patrol in the South China Sea.

GUANGZHOU - China Air Force aircraft, including the H-6K bombers and Su-30 fighter jets, patrol the airspace of the South China Sea (LCS). They patrolled over the Nansha islands and the islands of the sea Huangyan in the disputed territory.

"This flight is a part of the actual combat training to improve the Air Force's response to security threats," said Senior Colonel Shen Jinke, as quoted from page Xinhua on Sunday (07/08/2016).

In the patrol, said Shen, two Su-30 fighter aircraft could perform refueling twice on the sea.

"Some types of bombers, fighter aircraft, Airborne Early Warning aircraft, reconnaissance aircraft and tanker aircraft also carried out patrols," he said, adding that they took off from several airports.

Shen revealed that the planes would have menyelesaukan a series of training missions including early warning air defense maneuvers, air combat and patrol the island in a complex electromagnetic environment.
