MOSCOW - Russia declared air defense systems owned by the United States (US) is not a serious threat. Moscow says they are developing ballistic missiles that could penetrate the air defense system easily, like a hot knife through butter splitting.

Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin said it continues to develop intercontinental ballistic missiles, in order to prevent threats coming from Russia. The missiles have claimed could easily penetrate all existing air defense systems in the world, including those of the US.

"These weapons are capable of cleaning the American missile defense, both today and tomorrow, and even the day after tomorrow," Rogozin said in a statement, as reported by Russia Today on Monday (20/2).

"We can rip off their air defenses; at this point (the US defense system) does not pose a serious military threat to us, except for a provocation," he continued.

Rogozin also noted that Russia's nuclear forces has various horrible missiles, including missiles R-36m2 Voevoda-Soviet era. This missile is better known by the name of missiles SS-18 Satan ICBM or "missile Satan".

Russia as well known already has a replacement ICBM missile "missiles Satan", the RS-28 missile Sarmatian otherwise known as the "Missile Devil 2". The missile design was leaked to the media some time ago.
