DAMASCUS, Syrian - President Bashar al-Assad said that any foreign troops enter Syria without invitation are occupiers including from the United States (US). Assad insists he never gave permission to US troops who are currently in Manbij.

"Every foreign troops who came to Syria without invitation or consultation or our permission, they are invaders, whether they are American, Turkish, or others," Assad said as quoted by Russia Today, Saturday (03/11/2017).

When asked whether Damascus had opened the door for the US forces in the city of Manbij in the province of Aleppo, Assad said: "No, we did not give permission."

"What are they going to do? To fight ISIS? The US almost every war always lose. They lost in Iraq, they had to withdraw at the end. Even in Somalia, especially in the past such as in Vietnam and Afghanistan," he added.

According to Assad, the US has never succeeded anywhere they send troops. "They just make a mess, they are very good at creating problems and destroy, but they are very bad in finding a solution," he said.

Assad noted, without foreign intervention, war Syria will take several months to expire. "The complexity of this war is foreign intervention. This is a problem," he said. Syrian President stressed that the government forces are now very close to Raqqa, castle ISIS which is about 100 kilometers from Manbij.

On Thursday, US-led coalition confirmed that about 400 American marines and military guards had arrived in Syria to establish a post to support the operation of taking the city Raqqa.

Contingent new add 500 US troops are already in Syria. US Air Force Col. John Dorrian, a spokesman for the coalition, said the new troops have been deployed to accelerate the defeat of terrorists in Raqqa.
