US Action To Attack Major General Soleimani Until Death Is A Brutal Act

Jakarta: Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, Mahfud MD, said that the actions of the United States attacking the Commander of the Quds Force, Major General Qasem Soleimani to death were brutal. Soleimani was killed while traveling overland near the Iraqi International Airport, on Thursday (02/01/2020) Iraqi time.

"Yes, in my opinion it is a political tragedy, a humanitarian tragedy that was carried out brutally," Mahfud told RRI.co.id at the Coordinating Ministry for Politics and Security, Jakarta, Tuesday (1/7/2020).

The President of the United States, Donald Trump, has acknowledged the air raid on Soleimani's entourage in Iraq on his orders. Mahfud also knew that.

"(Brutally) by whoever the culprit is. Including, if that is true, it has been recognized by Donald Trump. We are sorry, without seeing what she (Soleimani, red) has, what religion. But that can't happen in life. Moreover, in the international world, "said Mahfud.

Soleimani died while on a working visit at the official invitation of the Iraqi Government. Soleimani's relationship as the leader of the Iranian State Quds Force, is indeed known to be very influential in the Middle East. Mahfud also admitted, especially Soleimani died tragically.

"He is an important person in a country, and it is very tense. We are sorry, and we must call on all humanity to avoid being brutal. Whether it is a human president, or ordinary people, do not be brutal towards human lives, "said Mahfud.

Iran's condemnation

Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Indonesia, Mohamad Azad answered questions related to the role of Iran in the Middle East. Precisely, after the assassination of the Leader of the Quds Force, Major General Qasem Soleimani carried out by the United States through air strikes. Soleimani was killed instantly in a road trip near the Iraqi International Airport, Thursday (02/01/2020) Iraqi time.

Azad also explained the chronology of the brief death of Soleimani that occurred in Iraq. Because, before he died, he said Soleimani had been officially invited by the Syrian Government because ISIS was now defeated in Syria.

Soleimani's presence before he died was also officially invited by the Iraqi Government.



"When he (Soleimani, red) at the request of the Iraqi State was present there, ISIS and various other (terrorism, red) groups were defeated there. And this time even his visit to Iraq, is an official visit from the country of Iraq, "said Azad.
