Japanese Media Raises Speculation COVID-19 Comes From The US

A report from a Japanese TV station has suspected 14,000 US citizens who died of influenza. That sparked fears and speculation in China that the corona virus originated in the US.

Because, before news of the corona virus spread on Chinese social media, there was a military match held in Wuhan City in October. From that match, it allows participants from the US to suffer from the corona virus to Wuhan which causes mutations in the virus.

Reporting from the Global Times, the report was broadcast by TV Asahi Corporation of Japan. The program said that the US Government was not aware of a virus that was developing on the US mainland.

On February 14, the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) said they would examine people with diseases such as influenza for the COVID-19 virus, in public health laboratories located in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Chicago, and New York. However, it is not known whether US citizens who died of influenza were infected by the corona virus, as Asahi TV said.

Professor of International Relations at Shanghai Fudan University, Shen Yi, noted that global virus experts attacked working to trace the origin of the virus, including involving intelligence services. "The symptoms and contagiosities of COVID-19 are proven for everyone. "It is impossible for people to hide the origin of this disease," he said.
